After a while, the rain he was hiding from passed by. The air grew misty around him. He is drenched—”I am no duck,” he thinks. The rain was a proper downpour, but the blue dark is beginning to get an orangey haze now as warmth finds a crack to shine through. As his fur begins to dry, his thoughts solidify toward his mission: to find the plant that gave him hope as a child. “The Bat Plant with whiskers,” his father would say.
